The Home of The Apple

Visit Herefordshire in October to
join our celebrations

Here in Herefordshire, we believe we are the rightful ‘home’ of the apple and cider! We have the perfect soils and weather to grow the finest apples in the world.

During October, we celebrate this special fruit. Cider producers, chefs, bar tenders, hoteliers, heritage sites and other visitor attractions have launched new apple themed tours, menus, cocktails and events to showcase Herefordshire’s incredible orchard heritage, and give you even more reasons to visit this year.

Come and join us as the apple takes centre stage and the landscape looks resplendent in autumnal colours. #applesforautumn
